More than four decades of church football, community and fellowship have shaped the league we see today.

For over 40 years, the Churches Football League has brought churches and communities together through organised football, fellowship and player development.
Following the COVID-19 period, the Kingdom Cup emerged from that foundation as a renewed chapter—uniting churches, rebuilding community connections and continuing the tradition through faith and football.
A veteran local referee and advocate for church-league football, Mr. Maloney created the Kingdom Cup to unite churches, encourage players and strengthen communities.

Preserved reports connect today’s Kingdom Cup with generations of faith, fellowship and competitive football in Trinidad and Tobago.
A shared football experience connecting players, churches, officials, families and supporters.
